2025 Youth Pitch Competition
Youth Hatching Event
The Youth Hatching Event was an exciting youth pitch competition designed to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders. The event featured eight talented contestants who presented their innovative ideas to a panel of four distinguished judges representing The Lansing Promise, The Fledge, CAPCAN, and The Melanated Business Alliance.
At the end of the competition:
🥇 First Place went to Nailsbyjamiet, who earned $2,000 for her outstanding pitch.
🥈 Second Place was awarded to Boxer Blitz, taking home $1,000.
🏆 The People's Choice Award—voted on by the audience—went to Daveah’s who received $500.
This event provided a powerful platform for young people to showcase their creativity, build confidence, and gain support from community leaders and peers alike.
